Your fishing spot
This spot needs coordinates
To show conditions, sun and moon times and a map, the spot in Notion needs the latitude and longitude of the place you fish.
- On a computer, open Google Maps and find your spot on the water.
- Right-click the spot on the water. The first line of the menu is the coordinates, for example
45.0123, -78.9123. Click the numbers to copy them. (On a phone: press and hold the spot, then copy the numbers from the search box.) - In Notion, open the spot in your Spots database. Paste the first number into Latitude and the second number (keep the minus sign) into Longitude.
- Open the conditions link again, from the spot or from a trip that fishes it.
Latitude is between −90 and 90; longitude is between −180 and 180. West of Greenwich (all of North America) longitude is negative.
🔒 Your spots and catches stay on your device. Coordinates are only ever in this page's address.
